Register for This EventKick off our indoor season on the second Saturday of November. Bring your horse, mule or donkey to practice tarps, flags, bridges, pool noodles, noise obstacles, gates and tight spaces in a covered arena, whatever the weather outside.
All experience levels are welcome, and you can ride or lead your animal through the course. New to desensitization? Read horse desensitization training in Georgia before you come.

Tarps
Walk over, beside and under crinkly, shifting tarps.
Flags
Learn to stay relaxed around flapping and waving fabric.
Bridges
Practice careful footing and trusting your rider on a hollow-sounding surface.
Pool noodles
Soft, wobbly and unfamiliar: a gentle first step in desensitization.
Noise obstacles
Rattles, clatter and other sounds, introduced at a pace the horse can handle.
Gates
Open, pass through and close gates from the saddle or on the ground.
Tight spaces
Build body awareness and patience in narrow passages and corners.
Stop-and-go challenges
Sharpen your transitions and your horse's attention to your cues.
